Logistikjunge is a private non-commercial web place to test web-applications with the focus on maritime, logistics, reports and business as well as location intelligence.

Water gauge live data for Tableau

The watergauge Tableau WDC (Web-Data-Connector) enables Tableau users to load json data provided by Pegelonline. If your are interested in documentation, please visit my GitHub repo.
The data is provided by the german water and shipping authority (WSV: Wasser- und Schifffahrtsamt). Actual-data is retrieved from the REST-API of the official Pegel-Online-Webservice.

Dangerous goods

Logistikjunge provides a directory for dangerous goods terms and their definitions. Following sources have been used to determine the terms: IMDG, ADN, RID and ADR as well as GGV S-E-B. The directory is still in development (currently about 100 terms are available) and it is equpped with an alphabet used for pre-selection. The terms are stored in a MariaDB thats why SQL, PHP and JQuery with an accordion are utilizated to access the data.
The terms and definitions are only available in German and theirfore the translate buttons are disabled.

Port of Antwerp Directory

At the end of October 2017 NXT Port went with varoius APIs online at the Port of Antwerp. I have developed within 24h a first approch for the Portdirectory API using JQuery Autocomplete and Bootstrap. All listed companies can be accessed by name through the web application.
Search for general and detailed contact informations, certificates, logistics assets and accessebility, opening hourse and so on. Logistikjunge is not taking responsibility for the data (quality).

StadtRAD Hamburg

StadtRAD Hamburg is a public bicycle-sharing system established in 2009 in Hamburg. It is one of the most successful bicycle-sharing systems in Germany. The Authority for Economic Affairs, Transport and Innovation authorized Deutsche Bahn Connect to manage the whole system. Due to the Open Government Initiative nearly real-time data of stations and the availability of bicycles is accessible through a WebFeatureService (WFS). Logistikjunge makes use of the WFS, stores the retrieved data in a relationale database and provide Location Intelligence Service using GoogleMap and Open Street Map combined with Leaflet an open-source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps.

Bar- & QR-code Generator

Application to generate different Barcodes like Barcode128, 128a, 39, 25 and QR-Codes with different ECC. It enables users to create barcodes or QR-codes from a given text using algorithmen provided by David S. Tufts and deltalab which provides an open source library for generating QR-codes.

Application which enables users to calculate and analyze interactive a vehicle investment used to provide transport logistic service. Compare 2 vehicles in terms of cost (initial, fixed and variable cost) and the usage (operation) in context of driven km.

Water gauge live data

The application enables user to find a water gauge record station in Germany and their actual water gauge (live). Water gauge live data can be selected by water, river or canal.
The data is provided by the german water and shipping authority (WSV: Wasser- und Schifffahrtsamt). Actual-data is retrieved from the REST-API of the official Pegel-Online-Webservice. The data is written in a document in JSON-Format which serves as datasource for the Logistikjunge water gauge application.

Application which enables users to pin markers on a customized GoogleMap using coordinates from local german ports (North and Baltic Sea)

Geocode & visualize locations

Application to primarily geocode various locations (worldwide) with GooogleMap. The application enables users to find out easily the coordinates of a location using the location name and visualize the location on a GoogleMap through a pin. It is also possible to use coordinates to vizualize location

Application which enables users to search for german locations and ZIP-codes (nationwide) using PapaParse (fastest CSV-parser for browser) and a local CSV-file with over 13k records which serves as a datasource as well as the use of some standard JS-functions like RegExp
